Oregon Dairy's Farm Tour Experience
Oregon Dairy, located in Lancaster County, PA, offers fun, educational group tours of our beautiful Family Dairy Farm and Market that are great for Pre-school to High School students, Families, Businesses, etc. Enjoy a tractor and wagon ride to the farm and through the barn, see where the cows are milked, visit our friendly farm animals, and learn all about the importance of farming! Make the trip count even more… For the teachers, we have access to lesson plans that meet Pennsylvania’s State Standards! To accommodate groups of 50 or more, the Combo Tour must be chosen.
General Tour Information:
- All tours are for a minimum of 15 guests. Smaller groups are welcome and available at a flat rate.
- One FREE Chaperone/Teacher per every 5 paying students
- Tours are scheduled from April through October by reservation only.
- Reservations need to be made at least 2 weeks in advance.
- Tours are available Monday through Friday. (Friday Tours not available between September 18 – October 30, 2026) No Weekend Tours.
- Tours are NOT available Columbus Day, Monday, October 12, 2026.
- A deposit will be required upon confirmation.
- A handicap-accessible wagon is available.

Field Trip Farm Tour
(Max. 50 People)
What’s Included:
- Personal Guided Tractor and Wagon Ride to and from the farm
- Meet our herd of dairy cows, tour the barn and milking facilities
- Students will also learn about dairy farming and growing crops
- “I Spy” World Cow Game throughout the tour
- Petting Zoo at the farm that will include goats and a calf!
- Handful of Feed to Feed the Goats
- Sample of Oregon Dairy’s Chocolate Milk
- Mini Vanilla Ice Cream Cone

Market tour

- Walk into a Giant Refrigerator
- Learn how we recycle over 450,000 pounds of cardboard every year!
- See inside a 52′ Tractor Trailer and learn how groceries are received
- View our Giant Freezers that stores your favorite ice cream and frozen treats
- Donut hole from the Bakery Department
- Cheese sample from the Deli Department
- Sample of Oregon Dairy Chocolate Milk
- Mini Vanilla Ice Cream Cone
- Coupon for kids and adults

"Double the Fun" Group Tours
(June - August | Full Day Experience)
Spend the morning at Oregon Dairy and the afternoon at Hands-on-House!
(Max. 60 People)
What’s Included In The Double the Fun Tour:
- Enjoy a guided Oregon Dairy Farmstead Tour and Hands-on House Children’s Museum visit in one exciting day.
- Take a tractor and wagon ride to the farm and through the dairy barn.
- See where cows are milked and learn about the importance of farming.
- Visit and interact with farm animals.
- Enjoy complimentary ice cream and milk samples.
- Explore Hands-on House exhibits through purposeful play and hands-on learning.
- Discover popular exhibits including the Village, Farm, Playhouse, and Park.
- Spend approximately 90 minutes at each location.
- Lunch break at Oregon Dairy between tour experiences (lunch not provided).
Sample Schedule::
- 9:30am – 11:00am | Oregon Dairy Farmstead Tour
- 11:00am – 12:00pm | Lunch at Oregon Dairy (provided by your group)
- 12:00pm – 12:15pm | Travel to Hands-on House (with your own transportation)
- 12:30pm – 2:00pm | Explore Hands-on House
Cost: $17.00/Person
- Available for groups of 60 or fewer participants.
- One adult chaperone is required for every four students.
- Guests should bring a packed lunch.
Important:
- Reservations for Double the Fun Tours are managed through Hands-on House Children’s Museum.
Group Farm Tours
Recommened for ages 13+ (Max. 50 People)
